WebJun 25, 2024 · 2005 f150 transmission issues Started having issues with my truck a few weeks ago. The truck is a 2005 f150 with a 4.6 v8 with 229k miles. The truck, when driving in the 30mph-50mph range, doesn't seem to go down to the correct gear causing the vehicle to travel slowly or if you press the gas harder it will usually rev as if it's not in gear.
